Marshalltown Airport offers Flight school from Instrument to Commercial training. Introductory Flights Flight School - Hours of Operation 8-5 Weekdays Sat. 8 to noon Ground school is held twice yearly and is a 10 week course 7-9 pm one night a week. Ground school is included with purchase of private pilot kit.
An Introductory flight lesson may be experienced for $60 + tax. This lesson would consist of information concerning the requirements for a private pilot's license, a review of the educational materials available for ground school, as well as, an actual training flight. The flight will be approx. 20 minutes, where you will actually get to take the controls and fly the airplane straight and level, climbs, descents, and turns. It is an abbreviated flight lesson containing identical maneuvers which you will find in the first three to four lessons. 641-752-0012 |
